well if u just wanted to add bass, you could get 2 JL 12w0's in a box and some sort of mid-line amp and all the necessary wiring for under $600

i ordered my stuff from crutchfield and i have had no problems from them with warranty issues, i am partial to kenwood myself... i have 3 way kenwood's in my door but i don't remember what i paid for them, i spent somewhere around $600 for my subs and amp but i plan on upgrading that one day [img]wink.gif[/img] i haven't changed out my deck yet.... but that last one i got was a kenwood that cost me $500. alpine makes some better speakers but to me it really depends on what you are looking for
